Shade cloth is relatively inexpensive to purchase, has a long lifespan and will not disturb the appearance of your environment. But how can you attach shade cloth?
Attaching shade cloth is not difficult, but there are a few points to keep in mind. There are a number of things you should take into account when attaching the shade cloth. Consider, for example, the attachment points in the form of stainless steel screw eyes.
Whether the cloth will hang in front of a door, what the dimensions of the cloth should be and that the sun turns naturally and you therefore have to decide at which times you need the most shade. If you want to attach your shade cloth without drilling too many holes in the wall, consider attaching the tips of the cloth to a tree. Please note that the attachment points must point to the center of the cloth.
Since it can rain quite often in the Netherlands, it is wise to make sure that you tilt the cloth a little when attaching the shade cloth so that the rainwater can flow away easily and no puddles form on your cloth. Also think about the wind. The tighter you stretch the canvas, the harder it is for the wind to get under it.
This does not apply to shade cloths that are not waterproof, but then you have other problems. When attaching the shade cloth, you can use a mounting kit that contains any hooks, nuts and screw eyes. This way you have everything at hand and you can get the job done quickly.
The cloth will still hang out a bit and that is why it is wise to tighten the cloth a little more after a few days. You can easily order your shade cloth and mounting kit online and you can also find a lot of tips for hanging your shade cloth perfectly. Attaching shade cloth has never been easier.
