Brace kit 6mm cable

For bracing your garden shed or fence. With this 6mm cable, you can easily strengthen your construction. The brace kit is a complete package to make 2 cross brace cables. A wind brace, also called a stability brace or cross brace, is made by bracing 2 cables. This strengthens your construction and prevents warping and catches the forces of, for example, the wind.

The package contains the following parts:

• 1x 20 meter 6mm galvanized steel cable
• 2x wire tensioners M10 3011
• 12x wire clamps 741 - 6mm
• 4x screw eye 8x80
• 4x wire sleeve 6mm
• 1x cross clamp 6mm

The package can be attached in 7 steps:

1. Place the screws 3cm from the corners where you want to make the strut.
2. Attach the wire tensioners and the corners you want. 1 per line.
3. Attach the wire stockings in the opposite corners. Watch this film clip about attaching the wire stockings.
4. Unscrew the turnbuckles so that 35 mm of thread sticks out on both sides.
5. Make a loop around the wire sleeve and secure it with the wire clamps. View this video about attaching wire clamps if required
6. Mount the wire reasonably tight, then insert a screwdriver in the hole of the wire tensioner and tighten your brace.
7. Mount the cross clamp.
