Press Clamp Aluminium for Wire Rope
Aluminum wire rope clamps have an oval shape. The size mentioned with a wire clamp is always the wire rope size. So when you have a wire clamp 3mm it is for steel wire rope 3mm.
An aluminum wire rope clamp can be pressed with a hand crimping plier or hydraulic pliers. The clamp is pressed from oval to round. When the pressing is done optimally a strength as high as the breaking force of the steel wire rope can be reached.
