This wire clamp consists of 3 parts:
To get a connection that becomes strong as the cable, 3 clamps can be placed. Here it is important that the top end of the cable is placed in the wire clamp. This end of the wire rope is called the dead end.
The wire clamp is sometimes expressed in a din standardization of DIN 741 - The saying goes "you shouldn't saddle a dead horse". This means that when mounting cable clamps, the saddle of the clamp should be on the carrying, live part of the cable and not on the non-bearing, "dead" part.
