The Development of Rize

The Zip-Clip Rize automatic wire clamps are designed to allow installers to hang products at height quickly and easily. This system is designed to offer installers the flexibility to fix products on-site without special tools, suitable for both light and heavy installations.

Zip-Clip grippers are used to anchor the wire cable to a ceiling or anchor point, as well as to attach the steel cable to the desired fixture or fitting. The steel cable and locking devices from Zip-Clip together ensure a reliable and safe solution in a wide range of applications.

Applications of Rize

Suitable areas of use for the Rize system include, but are not limited to:

• Lighting and audio
• HVAC and mechanical services
• Signage and displays, screens and partitions
• Acoustic and radiant heating panels
• Bracing
• Catenaries

Availability and Safe Working Loads of Rize

Zip-Clip has five different systems that are assigned a letter to distinguish between the available safe working loads (SWL). Each system includes a specific wire cable diameter and is supplied with the required Zip-Clip device.

The Rize system is also available with blackened wire and automatic wire clamps - see the BLACK SYSTEM for more information. The indicated loads apply per individual steel cable support in combination with the suitable Zip-Clip gripper. Third-party test certificates are available upon request.

All safe working loads and certifications are based on the use of Zip-Clip Rize grippers in conjunction with Zip-Clip high-quality steel cable. Zip-Clip cannot guarantee the safe working load of a product when it is used with non-Zip-Clip steel cable and cannot support projects where non-Zip-Clip wire cable has been used.
